Small businesses to get big export boost

South Australia boasts a strong, stable economy and is a great place for small businesses to grow.

We are now selling more to the world than ever before, with the state's goods exports reaching a record-breaking $18.5 billion in the year to June 2026. This milestone has been fuelled by the state's remarkable export growth, up 11.4 per cent, and far surpassing the national average of 4.1 per cent growth.

But while many South Australian businesses are ready to begin their export journey, they don't know how to take the leap to reach global markets.

The new, expanded Growth Accelerator Program, delivered by the SA Business Chamber, will provide tailored business advisory services, including growth and export planning, mentoring, networking and workshops to develop and implement export strategies that help small businesses drive sustainable international growth.

Breaking into international markets can be a daunting prospect for a small business. The Growth Accelerator Program is designed to support businesses and to give them the knowledge and the tools to make that move with confidence.
