The Department for Industry, Innovation and Science is proud to support another year of _SOUTHSTART –Australia’s leading event for the startup, tech and innovation community.*

This year, the three-day event is expected to attract approximately 280 local and 300 interstate and international guests to the Garden of Unearthly Delights in Adelaide.

To coincide with _SOUTHSTART are several new South Australian Government supports coming online for the state’s startup and innovation community, including:

• A new Fearless Innovator Grants Program, awarding grants to innovative, female-founded businesses.
• The Innovation Leaders Network, a platform to foster the exchange of knowledge and inspire collaboration between seasoned entrepreneurs and emerging startups.
• Support for up to 10 South Australian tech businesses to join Tribe Global Ventures’ delegations to the US or UK, for a curated in-market experience to pursue business exports and/or expansion.

This is in addition to the matched funding of up to $500,000 available through the existing Seed-Start grant program.
