The finalists of the 2026 Premier’s Business & Export Awards have been announced by the South Australian Business Chamber.

Delivered in partnership with the South Australian Government, the awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution that the state’s local businesses have made to South Australia’s social, environmental and economic wellbeing.

Each finalist will automatically be considered for two prestigious, major awards – the South Australian Business of the Year and South Australian Exporter of the Year.

Winners will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday 16 October with the Premier of South Australia, Peter Malinauskas in attendance.

The winners of the export award national categories will be automatically entered as finalists into the Australian Export Awards, held in Canberra in November 2026.

Premier Peter Malinauskas said the awards are an opportunity to celebrate the incredible achievements of South Australia’s business community.

“South Australian businesses – from small startups to large enterprises – make an extraordinary contribution to the strength of our state by powering innovation, creating jobs and enriching our society,” he said. “South Australis is home to some of the country’s leading exporters who have helped drive South Australian exports to a record $18.4 billion in the last 12 months.”

South Australian Business Chamber CEO, Andrew Kay, said while the awards capture a point in time, they reflect aspiration and positivity for the future.

“The South Australian Premier’s Business & Export Awards are more than a celebration of individual success; they are a showcase of where our state’s economy is heading.

“This year’s finalists demonstrate that South Australian businesses are increasingly sophisticated, globally connected and capable of competing with the very best anywhere in the world.

“They are developing advanced products, delivering world-class services, expanding into new export markets and creating opportunities that benefit the entire state.”
