The 2023 program for national startup conference _SOUTHSTART was released today, promising three jam-packed days of activity across Adelaide from 7 – 10 March.

Supported once again by the Department for Industry, Innovation and Science (DIIS), next year marks the sixth iteration of _SOUTHSTART, with the annual event now a highly anticipated date on the calendar of entrepreneurs and innovators Australia-wide.

_SOUTHSTART sees business founders, industry leaders and investors build new knowledge and relationships through a series of workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities.

The 2023 program leans into Adelaide’s Mad March period – partnering with The Garden of Unearthly Delights and WOMADelaide to offer attendees a well-rounded cultural experience.

Another program highlight is the Angel Summit, which will see 120 of Australia's leading angel investors converge to discuss how this cohort can best support the growth of promising local startup and scale-up businesses.

A final list of speakers will become available early next year.

Earlier this year, it was announced that DIIS would provide funding through the Research and Innovation Fund to support the next three _SOUTHSTART festivals, to be held in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
