Department for Industry, Innovation and Science (DIIS) employees have been recognised for the value and impact of their work today, announced as the winners of three categories in the 2023 Premier’s Excellence Awards.

Held today, Friday 8 March 2024, the Awards acknowledge individuals and teams across the South Australian public sector who strive to deliver exceptional outcomes for our state.

It is the highest reward for South Australian public servants, and we are incredibly proud of our employees and teams recognised:

• The Office for Small and Family Business’s Flood Recovery team won the Excellence in Service Delivery category, in partnership with the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
• Bettina Venner, Manager of Supply Chain Development, ICN SA, won the Building South Australia’s Economy category (individual).
• The Defence Workforce Capability team were joint winners with Department for Education’s Industry Engagement team in the Building South Australia’s Economy category (team).
