    Manufacturing Growth Accelerator

The Department of State Development partnered with Flinders University to establish a Manufacturing Growth Accelerator (MGA) at the Factory of the Future facility at Tonsley Innovation District.

This initiative is enabling South Australia’s small businesses to accelerate the adoption of innovative manufacturing technologies by connecting these businesses with researchers and industry leaders.

MGA projects are undertaken by Flinders University researchers to support SMEs.

To be eligible, Accelerator Projects must:

    • Include at least one eligible SME
    • Meet all MGA program objectives and address at least one MGA strategic priority (listed above)
    • Consider the human factors associated with any technological innovation

All projects must be developed in consultation with a Flinders University researcher, be approved by the MGA Assessment Panel and participate in project and program evaluation.

    How to participate

Eligible SMEs can engage with the Manufacturing Growth Accelerator by participating in information sessions, bespoke accelerator projects, and/or Industry 4.0 assessments.
