    South Australian Premier’s Business & Export Awards 2025

    Apply now for the South Australian Premier’s Business & Export Awards 2025!

    These prestigious annual awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution South Australian businesses make to the social, environmental and economy wellbeing of our community.

    Presented by the South Australian Government in partnership with the South Australian Business Chamber, this year’s awards will feature two a new categories, the First Nations Exporter Award and the Workplace Culture and Wellbeing Business Award.

    The Department of State Development is proud to sponsor the following award categories:

    • Technologies Export Award
    • Small Business Export Award

    Winners will be announced at a Gala Award Dinner on Friday 29 August 2025 at Adelaide Convention Centre.

    The winners of the export award national categories will automatically be entered as finalists in the Australian Export Awards in Canberra on 26 November 2025, with the exception of the SA Wine Exporter award being a state-based award category.

    Applications open on Tuesday 29 April 2025 and close on Friday 13 June 2025.

    Rising Sun Pictures named Australian Exporter of the Year in 2024

    In 2024, South Australian VFX company, Rising Sun Pictures (RSP), was awarded the South Australian Creative Industries Export Award and went on to win at the Australian Export Awards, named as Australia’s Exporter of the Year.

    RSP also took home the Creative Industries Award in the national awards, with software company Fivecast recognised as the Advanced Technologies Exporter of the Year.

    Among 12 South Australian companies to be nominated across 13 categories, RSP has produced visual effects for global successes including the Warner Bros. Harry Potter series, the recent Mad Max saga, Furiosa; Harold and the Purple Crayon; Deadpool and Wolverine; The Marvels; Monarch: Legacy of Monsters; The Fall Guy and many more.

    The Adelaide-based company has been bringing cinematic experiences to life for nearly three decades and boasts a team of more than 400 artists and supervisors across its studios.
