    Local cyber company Arxis securing technology and empowering businesses

    Connectivity is at the heart of a smart economy. As the world becomes increasingly digitalised, South Australia is harnessing critical technologies to drive innovation, solve problems and attract investment to the state.

    With technology transforming our industries, it is critical that businesses protect their digital infrastructure from cyber-attacks. To take stock of South Australia’s cyber capability, the South Australian Government has compiled a complete directory of the state’s cyber companies and the areas of cyber security they specialise in.

    One of the latest additions to the South Australian Cyber Capability Matrix is Arxis, which has been on the scene since February 2024.

    A broad solution systems integrator with the ability to support its clients across the gamut of IT services, Arxis specialises in cyber security and networking. It also has the only owned and operated SA-based datacentre in Pooraka, where it has built a private cloud environment for its clients.

    Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer Mark Michael said Arxis has a commitment to being technically excellent in everything it does.

    “Arxis began with a belief in technical excellence,” Mark said.

    “We want to hire the best and train the rest, invest in our people to be truly proficient in the products and services we take to market. We want to be known as the best technical delivery team in the country.

    “We currently provide full IT outsource services to small and mid-sized companies, and bespoke project and managed services in the enterprise sector, accommodating our clients depending on their needs.

    “We’re dedicated to assisting our clients by reducing risk and adding value to their operations.”

    A few months in, the team has already grown to eight staff, and Mark says they’re looking to employ 20 plus staff by December this year.

    “Arxis plans to continue our expansion through natural growth and potential acquisitions into other regions,” he said.

    “But we will not compromise our values of technical and operational excellence.
