    Each year, the SA Science Excellence and Innovation Awards celebrate the state’s top-performing STEMM professionals.

    Celebrating 20 years in 2024, the SA Science Excellence and Innovation Awards saw Jamie Craig, an ophthalmologist whose research is saving thousands from irreversible vision loss crowned SA Scientist of the Year.

    Each year, all finalists and their work are showcased through video interviews providing a rare glimpse into the laboratories, fields, clinics, boardrooms and classrooms where cutting-edge science and innovation takes place.
