Launched in late 2020, Adelaide-based sports tech innovator MyVenue has quickly expanded from an exciting start-up to a global leader in point-of-sale solutions.
MyVenue specialises in purpose-built point-of-sale software for stadiums, arenas, and hospitality venues. It has been used for some of the largest sporting events in the world, including the 2023 Super Bowl LVII, where it processed over 90,000 transactions across concessions, premium bars, mobile ordering, and corporate boxes.
With its technology used in over 185 venues worldwide, revenue increasing by 537 percent in the last three years, and the company’s exports to the US reaching $18.1 million in 2024, MyVenue is doubling its market share and team roughly every 12 months.
Since its humble beginnings in Lot Fourteen’s startup incubator, Stone & Chalk, MyVenue now employs over 70 staff and has established its Global Headquarters in the innovation precinct’s heritage-listed Bice Building.
By developing their software in Adelaide, MyVenue is a South Australian innovation creating high-value, local software engineering and IT jobs.
“We’re proud of the world-class reputation we’ve developed in just four years,” said Tim Stollznow, Chief Executive Officer, MyVenue. “Our technology powers some of the world’s biggest, most iconic sports and entertainment venues, proving what South Australian innovators can achieve on the global stage.
“Lot Fourteen has been a springboard in MyVenue’s journey and we’re excited to continue ‘changing the game’ from our global headquarters in Adelaide.”
