See It LIVE to create a summer of music

A summer of music will be supported across the state thanks to a new round of the South Australian Government’s See It LIVE e-voucher program.

From today, 18 November, venues hosting live music can apply for $400 e-vouchers to stage live music events across the summer from 1 December to 16 April, 2023.

A wide range of businesses looking to host live music acts, including pubs, clubs, bars, restaurants and cafes, may be eligible for these e-vouchers.

First announced in June, the government’s $10 million See it LIVE Music Package included a range of grants, a voucher scheme, mental health support programs, financing for venue upgrades, a live music advisory council, and an events cancellation fund to support the industry’s recovery.

Throughout the pandemic, the music industry experienced an incredibly tough period that saw major job losses, the cancellation of thousands of events.

This new round of See It LIVE e-vouchers will help support musicians throughout the state and encourage people to attend their favourite venue.
