Nominations are now open for the 2025 South Australian Premier’s Business and Export Awards which recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution of local businesses to South Australia’s social, environmental and economic success.
Local businesses and exporters can apply for a diverse range of categories across the Business and Export Awards, including Family Business of the Year and First Nations Exporter Award, with a total of 13 business award categories and 15 export award categories.
Two new categories have been introduced in 2025, the First Nations Exporter Award and the Workplace Culture and Wellbeing Business Award.
All nominees for category awards will be eligible for two major awards, the South Australian Business of the Year and South Australian Exporter of the Year, which will be presented by the Premier of South Australia at a black-tie gala dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday 29 August.
South Australian Business Chamber CEO Andrew Kay, expects an increase in nominations in 2025, following the success of the event over the past two years.
“The feedback from the finalists has been that the night was a celebration beyond their expectations and that they have gone on to use this acknowledgement in their marketing and communications,” said Mr Kay. “The Premier’s Business and Export Awards has quickly built a reputation as the pinnacle of business awards in our state, and we encourage everyone to nominate and if not, to be in the room on 29 August to celebrate business excellence in South Australia.”
More than 200 business nominations were received across 24 categories in 2024.
Nominations for the awards are now open and will close on Friday 13 June 2025.
