Support is available for workers within the automotive manufacturing supply chain.

Workers from automotive component supply chain companies who sign up for the Automotive Workers in Transition Program will be able to access professional career advice, get their skills recognised, train for a new job, or get business start-up advice.

Drive Your Future

If you are a current or former supply chain worker, Drive Your Future can help you start planning today to find your way forward in the future.

You’ll find plenty of resources on Drive Your Future to help you, but you’ll be able to access a lot more support if you register for support.

The State Government recognises that the coming closure of the automotive manufacturing sector will affect whole families, not just individuals.

Partners/spouses of eligible workers from automotive supply chain manufacturing firms are now also able to register for the program to access career advice and transition services.

Workers are encouraged to start planning now while still in employment. Qualified career advisors are available to help workers develop a career plan and identify new job opportunities.

Registration now for free support, or at the Career and Workforce Development Centre at Warradale, or through the Holden Transition Centre at Elizabeth.
