South Australian company helping to power Myanmar
Local company, RJE Global is taking its innovative engineering solutions to the world. The company is helping solve energy shortages and deliver power to people in Myanmar with a multi-million dollar Fast Power Plant built in Yangon in just 45 days.
Installation of the mobile turbine is the first of its kind in Myanmar and a key part of the government’s development plan for its biggest city, Yangon.
RJE Myanmar General Manager, Paul Moynihan says the country’s electrification plans offer other opportunities for the company.
“We hope to further capitalise on these opportunities through our ongoing presence in Myanmar.” Paul said.
“This energy project is just one example of RJE Global delivering energy solutions worldwide, as we have also completed similar projects in Papua New Guinea, Angola, Egypt and Indonesia.”
