Support is available for workers within the automotive manufacturing supply chain.

Workers from automotive component supply chain companies who sign up for the Automotive Workers in Transition Program will be able to access professional career advice, get their skills recognised, train for a new job, or get business start-up advice.

The State Government recognises that the coming closure of the automotive manufacturing sector will affect whole families, not just individuals.

Partners/spouses of eligible workers from automotive supply chain manufacturing firms are now also able to register for the program to access career advice and transition services.

Workers are encouraged to start planning now while still in employment. Qualified career advisors are available to help workers develop a career plan and identify new job opportunities.

Registration forms and further information on services and support is available to download below, or at the Career and Workforce Development Centre at Warradale, or through the Holden Transition Centre at Elizabeth.
