Export ready program helps makes the world more accessible
Business SA’s new export program has been developed especially for South Australian businesses who are seriously considering export, businesses new to export or those with experience who are looking to increase and optimise their export results.
One such participant is the Original Goolwa Bakery, a company more than 100-years-old and still innovating.
The bakery’s owner Ben Hage is excited at the opportunity to explore export markets and collaborate with other South Australian businesses.
“Participating in the program will equip us with the knowledge and tools we need to successfully start our export journey,” Ben said.
The Export Ready Program, created and facilitated by Business SA and supported by the South Australian Government, combines monthly workshops with individual monthly Export Adviser support and coaching sessions. This is the first program of this calibre available to South Australian businesses.
Business SA Chief Executive Officer, Nigel McBride says participants in program will be able to apply a strategic approach to exporting.
“They will be equipped with plans, tools, and advice that will lessen the risks associated with export, and increase their chance of success in interstate and overseas markets,” Mr McBride said.
